The brown is the good news 🌿

One of SE Queensland’s most invasive w**ds, Asparagus fern (*Asparagus aethiopicus*) it climbs into the canopy, smothers native trees, and regenerates from underground corms even after removal. Treatment has to go deeper than what you can see, and in just 2 weeks, this is what that looks like.

Verti-Draining: the process elite sports turf can’t do without. 🌱

By driving deep into the soil profile, it relieves compaction, improves drainage and encourages strong root growth, keeping high-performance surfaces ready for whatever comes next.

The result? Turf that can take a beating and come back stronger. 💪

This is what a healthy waterway looks like after months of hard work👇

Before: Salvinia and water hyacinth blanketing the entire surface. Native plants struggling to survive. The ecosystem under pressure.
After: Open water. Room to breathe. Nature doing its thing again.

Our crew spent the season at Sherwood Arboretum working alongside - paddling canoes into hard-to-reach islands, hand-w**ding around native species and treating aquatic w**ds with registered herbicides that are safe for the surrounding environment.

Every Thursday. Every week. Same dedicated team.
This is ecosystem restoration - one visit at a time. 🌱

Some of our best work happens when the city sleeps. 🌙

Our team was recently up at Mt Coot-tha Lookout, one of Brisbane’s most iconic spots, doing what we do best: quiet, precise, purposeful work.

The scope? Treating w**d vegetation within 1.5m of the guard rails around the lookout. It’s detail work that makes a real difference, improving visibility of the safety barriers, reducing w**d spread into surrounding council reserves, and keeping the area looking its best for the thousands of visitors who come through every week.

We work at night to keep disruption to a minimum. Less traffic, less noise, more focus.

The view from up there at 2am? Not bad either 😄

We work where environment meets community.

Through specialist w**d control, natural areas management and turf services, we help protect, restore and maintain the places people use every day.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about each area of our work.

What happens to a stadium surface after a major concert?

At Peoples First Stadium (Gold Coast Suns FC), we deliver aeration works up to six times per year, typically following high-traffic events.

Relieving compaction. Improving drainage. Supporting faster turf recovery.

Because elite venues need surfaces that perform, even after the crowd goes home.

Completion isn’t the hard part.
Sustained performance is.

Since 1988, Technigro has supported Queensland councils, developers and infrastructure clients managing vegetation, turf and high-use landscape environments where safety, usability and presentation must be maintained year after year.

Operating across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and regional Queensland, the team delivers maintenance across roadside networks, open space environments and complex assets where reliability matters.

Long-term results are built through practical delivery, local knowledge, and decades of experience in real operating conditions.
