Great food, plenty of laughs and a chance to put faces to familiar voices! 💚

Last Friday, six ladies from Langs joined Hyne Timber’s Ladies Day Out 2026 at Vanilla Zulu Cooking School in Teneriffe, celebrating women in the timber industry.

Cat Curran, Tracey Baynes, Meghan Cushway, Yvette Lewis, Wendy Paterson and Kate Bird enjoyed connecting with industry friends, including those they regularly speak with on the phone but rarely get to meet in person.

Langs and Hyne Timber share a partnership spanning more than 25 years. As two family-owned businesses, we’re proud of a relationship built on mutual trust, shared long-term goals and a commitment to recognising the people behind our businesses.

Thank you to Hyne Timber, especially Kellie and Kate, for bringing everyone together for such a memorable day! 👏

It is with mixed emotions we Farwell our good worker and good friend, Ken Bandy after 23 years of loyal service.

A pinch of Sadness, a smidge of jealously and a touch of Envy are all in there.

Kenny has been an integral part of the success of Langs Hardware division during his time with us and thankfully we have all learnt a lot from him, in that time.

We wish Kenny and his lovely wife Allison all the best in their retirement, safe travels Mate, you have earnt a break.
