Apollo Fencing has been installing chain wire cages across the Gold Coast for over 40 years, delivering secure and practical storage options for apartment basements, unit complexes and shared parking areas.

Each cage is measured and built to suit the available space and our customers’ requirements. Depths such as 1 metre allow residents to retain their vehicle parking while adding lockable storage, while larger configurations exceeding 5 metres can convert an entire bay into a dedicated storage area.

All of our cages are constructed using galvanised or PVC-coated chain wire, with galvanised or powder-coated steel posts, and are securely fixed to concrete slabs and existing surrounding structures. We also custom-build our gates to ensure the openings suit the cage design and function properly for the intended use.

Car park storage cages are commonly used for bikes, tools, sporting equipment, surfboards and general household items in multi-storey residential buildings, and are a popular addition to many apartment and basement car parks across the Gold Coast region.

A few of our recent chain wire commercial fencing projects completed by Apollo Fencing across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Yatala.

The first installation involved a perimeter fence on an elevated site, finished with black PVC coated chain wire and galvanised barbed wire for added security. Sloping ground and exposed positioning meant the posts and bracing needed to be set properly to keep everything straight along the boundary.

The second job was a boundary fence overlooking the Gold Coast, providing separation between commercial property and the surrounding area. Black chain wire was selected to suit the setting while still maintaining security.

The third project was completed in Yatala at an active industrial yard. This included commercial double access gates to allow wide vehicle entry while keeping the site secure.

Every site is different — terrain, access requirements and security levels all vary — but the goal remains the same: build it properly so it stays straight and does the job long term.

Back in March 2001, Apollo Fencing was already installing chain wire fencing across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales, servicing commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Projects at the time included commercial fencing installations in areas such as Yatala, Springwood and Nerang, along with sports enclosures for schools and universities, as well as secure car park and storage cages throughout the Gold Coast.

While a quarter of a century has passed, our approach hasn’t changed. We still focus on clear communication, reliable timeframes and fencing that’s built properly for the site and its use.

A lot has changed over the last 25 years, but our fencing standards remain the same.

Have a look at our recently completed chain wire fencing installation in Yatala on the Gold Coast. This project included two chain wire returns and a heavy-duty double access gate, finished with black PVC-coated chain wire and powder-coated black posts.
The installation included intermediate, end and gate posts, full bracing, straining cables to the top, middle and bottom, and three strands of high-tensile barbed wire. A 10-metre-wide double gate was installed to allow a wide opening without restricting the site’s functional requirements.

Our latest chain wire fencing project on the Gold Coast shows why this style of fencing remains a top choice for Queensland’s businesses.

Built using powder-coated black posts and PVC-coated black chain wire, this installation began with a star picket profile setup, followed by post excavation, concreting, and the final fit off of the chain mesh and custom built single gate.
