Reflecting on a Project Close to Our Hearts
As Garma Festival brings people together to celebrate Yolŋu culture, knowledge and connection to Country, we’re proud to reflect on a project that holds a special place in Djari Painting’s journey.
Back in 2014, our team had the privilege of completing the painting works at the Garma Cultural Centre in East Arnhem Land.
More than a decade later, it’s incredibly rewarding to look back on this project and know that our workmanship has contributed to a place of such cultural significance. A place where thousands gather each year to celebrate and share the world’s oldest living culture.
As a proudly Indigenous-owned business, opportunities like this remind us why we do what we do. We’re grateful to have played a small part in a project that continues to bring people together and inspire future generations.
We wish everyone attending Garma Festival this year a safe and memorable week.
