Congratulations to Tom Good on officially commencing a Certificate III in Plumbing school-based apprenticeship with Demas Plumbing.
Based in Northern Victoria, Demas Plumbing is a proudly local, family‑run business with more than 15 years of experience. Their work spans industrial, commercial, and domestic plumbing, as well as major civil works and drainage installation—giving Tom exposure to a wide range of real‑hands on projects.
Tom recently shared, “I’ve always wanted to become a plumber because I enjoy hands‑on work and learning new skills. Plumbing is something I’ve been interested in for a long time, and I’m very thankful to Wade for giving me the opportunity to start my apprenticeship as a school‑based apprentice and work towards a career in a trade.”
As part of his SBAT, Tom will attend block‑week training at GOTAFE, where he’ll learn to assemble, install, and maintain systems for water services, sanitary plumbing and drainage, gas, roofing, and mechanical services across both new builds and existing structures.
