What does a security rating actually test? One of the key checks is the Dynamic Impact Test.

A weighted test bag is driven into the screen five times to measure whether the product stays secure in its frame under heavy impact. Products are graded at SL100 or SL200, with SL200 tested at the higher impact energy. Both levels identify a compliant security screen when the product and installation carry the required labels.

This is why tested performance matters more than how strong a screen looks in a showroom.
