This newly constructed Harkaway home, located in Taradale, was designed to bring heritage charm into the modern world.

The clients brought their Harkaway plans to the Talbot Homes team, and we worked closely with them to build their dream home in a way that met both their budget and lifestyle needs.

Windows are more than a source of light. They frame the outlook, bring the seasons inside and shape how a space feels throughout the day.

From character stained glass to wide country views and a verandah that extends the living space outdoors, these details give the home its distinctive character and strong sense of place.

There is something exciting about frame stage.

The rooms begin to take shape, the roofline becomes real, and the plans finally start to feel like a home.

Located in Elphinstone, this design-and-construct project is a Talbot Homes design, created specifically to meet our clients’ budget while still delivering the country charm and everyday liveability they wanted for their rural property.

Behind every timber member is careful set-out, coordination and workmanship. Getting the structure right gives every trade that follows the best possible foundation to do their job well.
