We worked closely with the client to come up with the best outcome for both their budget and what they wanted to achieve. Instead of having the deck step down, we made it all one level and extended it from 4.5m out to 10m which completely changed the space.
We used all new materials including 140mm Merbau decking boards and a primed timber balustrade. The goal was to build something that looks great and last, while also keeping it affordable, as the client has plans for a knockdown rebuild in the next 10 years or so.
We’ve still got the lattice to install around the bottom of the deck at a later date but stoked with how it’s turned out. The clients were awesome to work for from start to finish 👍🏼
