At Amanah, materiality wasn’t treated as a finishing touch. It became part of the architectural language of the home.
The arched joinery niche creates a defined focal point, with expressive stone continuing from the benchtop through the full height of the feature. Rather than competing with the natural movement of the stone, open timber shelving cuts through it, connecting back to the darker joinery below and bringing warmth and balance to the space.
The curved opening softens the composition and carries Amanah’s Mediterranean and refined European influence through to the interior, while the combination of stone, timber, joinery and considered detailing gives the space its own identity. Madina’s project documentation describes Amanah as pushing beyond a standard duplex finish through craftsmanship, refined finishes and considered design.
This is where architectural design and interior design work together. The architecture establishes the form and proportions; the material and joinery selections build on that foundation to create a cohesive result.
Because good design isn’t about selecting beautiful elements individually. It’s about understanding how every decision works together.
Built on Better Decisions.
