"I would like to give a huge shout-out to Aaron and his team. The Sapphire Buffalo turf we received was amazing quality thick, lush, and with the perfect amount of soil, which made it easy to lay even though I’ve never laid turf before. Aaron replied within minutes of me messaging ….he went out of his way ensuring I got my delivery the next day as I needed it laid before the weekend.
He also gave really helpful tips on laying and looking after the turf.

Warmer days are just around the corner, which means your lawn is about to wake up from its winter slowdown. Now is the perfect time to get prepared so your lawn can thrive this spring.

Here are our top tips:
🌿 Clear away winter debris�Remove leaves, sticks and any dead material to let sunlight and air reach your lawn.

✂️ Raise your mower height�Avoid cutting too short during the final weeks of winter. A slightly longer lawn protects the grass and encourages healthy spring growth.

💧 Check your irrigation if you have any �Test your sprinklers now so they’re ready when temperatures begin to rise.

🌱 Plan your fertilising�Hold off for now, but have a quality slow-release fertiliser ready to apply once the weather consistently warms up.

🌾 Keep an eye out for weeds�Treat weeds before they have a chance to spread through your lawn in spring.

This photo gives you a behind-the-scenes look at Sapphire Soft Leaf Buffalo in action!

The thin green lines you can see growing across the soil are called runners, or stolons. Instead of growing from seed, Buffalo spreads by sending these runners out across the ground. As they grow, each runner develops roots and new shoots, gradually filling in every gap to create the dense, lush lawn Buffalo is known for.
