A custom wall bed project I recently built and installed in Austinmer, NSW 🛠️

Designed by the project architect, this piece combines a full-size Murphy bed with integrated cabinetry and timber detailing.

The challenge was to achieve perfect alignment within an angled ceiling space and ensure smooth, precise folding operation while keeping the design clean and minimal.

Materials: black MDF interior, natural timber veneer fronts, and custom hardware.

Transformation project in Kangaroo Valley, NSW 🛠️

What used to be a simple storage room was completely transformed into a custom-designed photobooth.

The architectural concept and 2D drawings were provided by the project designer — and I was responsible for the full ex*****on: timber framing, precise wall panelling, concealed lighting, and detailed finishing.

Every millimetre of this build required accuracy and patience — from framing layout to perfect alignment of each red panel.

Throwback to one of my past projects before moving to Australia — a fully custom built-in wall unit combining TV space, wardrobes, and hidden storage.

Designed for a modern apartment in Tehran, this piece features integrated LED lighting, glass-front drawers, and a minimalist white satin finish perfectly matched to the brick interior.

Attention to detail and seamless alignment were key parts of the process — the same approach I continue to bring to every project here in Sydney.

Transforming this small front yard terrace with a sturdy aluminium pergola! Measuring approximately 6.5m x 2m, this pergola was anchored on one side by a single post and on the other by the house's fascia. Due to the fascia's decay, it couldn't bear the load, so we replaced it. To ensure the weight was properly transferred to the house rafters, we reinforced the structure with timber blocking between the rafters. The result? A durable pergola that stands the test of time. 🏡✨

Check out the meticulous installation of this cabinet and study desk by Walnut Cube! Designed and crafted by RLD Joinery Pty Ltd, I took on the challenge of installing it with precision and care, especially in the bulkhead area. Mounting one of the overhead cabinets posed quite a challenge due to the five electrical connections in the back wall, ranging from small to large sizes, along with numerous cables for power, telephone, and internet. Every attachment had to be carefully removed from the wall, then reinstalled behind the cabinet without cutting any wires or encountering any issues. It was a test of skill and patience! "

🔥✨ Just wrapped up this unique dry sauna build in Lake Heights, Wollongong, NSW! This project came with its challenges due to the narrow space – just about 1 meter wide and 2.5 meters long.

What made this job even more special was our use of reclaimed wood from an old, large wooden bench. Approximately 40% of the wood you see here is recycled, adding a touch of history and sustainability to this cozy retreat.
