We recently completed painting works throughout this incredible local attraction, refreshing the interior spaces with a clean and modern finish while helping preserve the character of this iconic venue.

🔥 COASTAL HOME REVIVAL | SHELL COVE 🔥

This exterior had severe crazing across all rendered surfaces caused by years of harsh UV exposure and coastal salt damage — leaving the home looking tired and worn out.

After a full preparation process and application of the Haymes RenderShield system, this home now has the protection and finish needed to stand up to the coastal environment for years to come.

37 YEARS WITHOUT A PROPER CEILING PAINT… UNTIL NOW 🔥

This ceiling hadn’t been painted in 37 years, and the gyprock was never sealed properly from the start. Because of that, the paint had lost adhesion and was peeling across large areas of the kitchen and dining room.

Not a simple repaint — this one needed the full Revival treatment.

Our process:
• Scraped back all paint that wasn’t adhering (which ended up being most of the kitchen & dining ceiling)
• Sanded the entire surface smooth
• Sealed the ceiling with Haymes UltraLock to lock everything down
• Filled joints and peeling areas
• Spot primed repairs
• Finished with two coats of Haymes Ultra Premium Ceiling Flat

A big couple of days of prep, but this is what makes the final result last.

Ceilings like this can’t just be painted over they need to be properly revived first.
