It seems a week in work boots isn't enough for one of our operators! Mick Kennedy will be walking an overnight marathon in his work boots to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities, providing essential support for the families of kids receiving medical treatment in Perth. Living in Rural WA comes with a wide set of challenges, and Ronald McDonald house sets out to help families of sick kids with accommodation and meals when away from home. We couldn't be any prouder of Mick and encourage everyone to get behind a great cause!

Up All Night is an overnight marathon to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia (RMHCWA). Walking in an overnight marathon isn’t going to be easy, but it’s nothing compared to being the parent of a sick child. Donate to my page today.

While it's not road building weather right now in the South West, the grader is still hard at it. We have been working on a native revegetation project for one of our clients, stripping off the existing weeds and grass and then ripping the topsoil in preperation for seeding.

It might seem a a long way removed from earthworks, but our team have been busy upskilling by attending a crane operators course with Cape Training and Assessing. This ensures we are fully worksafe compliant with the introduction of the WHS act when conducting lifting operations with our machines.

S is for Subsoil! It might not be glamourous work, but the AMH Earthworks crew have been hard at it installing subsoil drains under the sand pads for a number of jobs in the last few weeks. Where water ingress is a concern, we trench around the external edge of the pad, lay in a suitable drain pipe and backfill with a recycled drainage rubble. While you won't see this work once we're finished, there's no shortcuts when it comes to the earthworks under your new building!
