The unglamorous stages of a build are often some of the most satisfying to watch. Our Taringa site has spent the last few weeks getting concrete footings poured and blocks delivered, with core filling, waterproofing, and backfilling next in line. Keep watching to follow the progress of these incredible homes.

The best 2026 custom builds are treating the master as its own private retreat, with walk-in robes finished in functional joinery, ensuites with considered fittings, and a layout that separates the master from the rest of the home entirely. A quiet luxury families never regret.

A staircase is more than a transition between levels—it’s a defining moment of craftsmanship. When carefully considered, the staircase becomes a signature feature—and one of the most memorable elements of the home.

A site update from Miller St in West End, where we are building a duplex and a standalone home on one block.

What makes this build particularly enjoyable is that our client is also the architect, so we have been working closely with him to bring his own vision to life.

Both homes are built boundary to boundary, which keeps our team on top of every detail of the programming.

Every block presents its own opportunities.

This custom McCarthy home in Coorparoo shows what's possible with a considered response to a flood overlay site. Through thoughtful planning and design, we're able to create homes that make the most of even the most complex blocks.

A smaller block doesn't have to mean compromising on the home you want.

This custom McCarthy build shows how thoughtful planning can deliver a home that feels spacious, functional, and beautifully finished, even on a compact footprint.

Building on smaller blocks is one of our specialties across South East Queensland, and when it's done well, the results speak for themselves.
