Another one wrapped up in Balmoral 👌

Exterior maintenance repaint completed across the rear of this beautiful home, including walls, eaves, fascia, columns, doors and railings.

Plenty of preparation went into this one, with the railings finished in a hard-wearing protective coating for a clean, durable finish.

Pretty hard to complain about the view either 👌

JANNALI — THE TRANSFORMATION IS UNDERWAY 🎨

A proper update from our Jannali full interior repaint.

There’s been a huge amount of work going on behind the scenes since the original before photos — with the bedrooms, hallway, laundry and toilet now largely completed, we’ve moved into the kitchen and main living areas.

The biggest change is now underway: taking the original dark timber beams to white.

This isn’t simply a case of putting white paint over them. The beams are being thoroughly prepared, filled and gapped, followed by the correct undercoat system before the finishing coats are applied.

The kitchen beams have now received their first undercoat, and you can already see how dramatically it’s going to open up and brighten the space.

Plenty more to come from this one. 👀

Progress update from our Mosman project.

Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 are now complete, with the upstairs almost finished.

This home has involved extensive preparation, detailed timberwork, ceilings and walls throughout. Every stage is bringing this beautiful home back to life.

Progress update – Mosman Heritage Home 🏡

We’ve been busy bringing this beautiful heritage home back to life.

So far we’ve completed extensive preparation, ceilings, timberwork and started applying the new wall colours throughout the home.

Every project starts with the foundations—protecting every surface, meticulous preparation and attention to detail before the final finish.

There’s still plenty to do, but it’s already starting to come together.

This room started with a bold red feature wall and has been completely transformed into a softer, more sophisticated space.

The new feature wall was created using Porter’s Original Paints French Wash in Wildwood, applied over a Bayleaf base coat to achieve a unique hand-crafted finish with depth and movement.

The remaining walls were colour matched to maintain the existing palette, while all timberwork was upgraded from an old oil-based finish to Dulux Aqua Enamel. This provides a smoother, more modern finish that won’t yellow over time while maintaining excellent durability.

Every French Wash wall is individually hand applied, making each finish completely unique.

One of the biggest challenges on this Mosman project has been the timber ceilings.

Over time, the joints between the ceiling boards had opened up, leaving visible gaps throughout the room.

Rather than simply painting over them, we carefully filled each joint before applying the ceiling finish. It’s a slower process, but it’s these details that create a cleaner, more refined result.

The timberwork has also received its first undercoat, with plenty more to come as the project progresses.

This room isn’t finished yet, but it’s already a great example of why preparation makes all the difference.
