The team completed this erosion work last week. At the West Wyalong treatment works.
They began with Excavating damaged area down to water level. Removed debris vegetation and unsuitable materials. Suitable material saved (decomposed granite and clay mixture) was blended with a -40 road base and reinstated in 150mm lifts and compacted.
65mm rock used as rock beaching and protection.
The project with limited access was completed in 3 days with a happy client.

Airport access road upgrade completed 👍🏻 here are the numbers.
- 4 week construction program
- vegetation clearing and grubbing
- 7500m2 sealed
- 2500tonne imported
- 800t unsuitable replacement
- 650m2 lime stabilisation
- table drains reshaped
- 4 pipe and head extension
- 8 mtr box culverts and head wall replacement
- 70m new kerb and gutter
- 60m of concrete nibs walls.

Thanks to all to team to pull this one off! Some massive efforts to get this project done with a very tight deadline.
