These substrates will never see a drop of water but will give everyone peace of mind knowing it’s been waterproofed.

Great job by the team over at our Carey bay job. Ardex wpm 300, ardex 1000 sheet membrane and 155 membrane around all perimeters and penetrations.

Our Rothbury job involved waterproofing door thresholds and installing aluminium angle prior to sliding door and cladding installation. We then applied 1 x coat of Bostik moisture seal, a combination of self adhesive butyl tape and bostik bond breaker sealant. Followed by 2 x coats of bostik platinum UV stable water based membrane.

Waterproofing on the substrate with the fall, in most cases the screed bed (topping)
Moisture and RH testing to determine if an epoxy needs to be used first. On this particular project for epoxy was not needed.
Butyl tape used as the bond breaker and 2 coats of membrane along with the porous and non porous primers.
24hours later, we flood tested the area for 24hours to test the installation of the membrane was done correctly and documented everything as required.
