With the Easter long weekend and ANZAC Day approaching, our team will be taking a short break to spend time with family.

Our sites will be closed on the following dates over the Easter and ANZAC Day period:

Friday, 18 April 2025 (Good Friday)
Monday, 21 April 2025 (Easter Monday)
Friday, 25 April 2025 (ANZAC Day)

Bottom ash is part of the non-combustible residue of combustion in a power plant, boiler, furnace or incinerator. In an industrial context, it has traditionally referred to coal combustion and comprises traces of combustibles embedded in forming clinkers and sticking to hot side walls of a coal-burning furnace during its operation.

So in short, Bottom ash is a by-product of the coal burning process.
