Celebrating 15 Years of Team MACA 🚴💙
Since joining the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins in 2012, Team MACA has been proud to ride alongside a growing community of riders, volunteers, supporters and corporate partners united by a shared purpose.
From becoming title sponsor in 2015 to supporting the Perkins Alliance, our involvement has always been about contributing to a cause that impacts so many of us by helping to fund cancer research and creating better outcomes for families affected by cancer.
Over the years, Team MACA has achieved some incredible milestones. In 2020, despite the ride being transformed into a COVID-19 challenge, Team MACA's 300 riders raised almost $1.5 million. Just one year later, more than 350 Team MACA riders helped drive a record-breaking $7 million result during the ride's 10th anniversary year, with MACA's contribution to the event exceeding $18 million.
The impact continued to grow. In 2023, Team MACA was recognised as the event's Corporate Fundraising Team of the Year.
MACA Cancer 200 has continued to go from strength to strength, surpassing $82 million in lifetime fundraising and cementing its place as Australia's biggest charity cycling event.
This weekend, we're proud to pull on the Team MACA jersey once again as the MACA Cancer 200 celebrates its 15th anniversary.
