Turns out we’ve had one of the best sunsets on the planet in our own backyard this whole time 🌅

The Flinders Ranges has just been ranked 14th in the world for golden hour! A new global index from Kuoni crunched the weather data on 165 of the world’s most popular sunset spots. Clear skies, barely any light pollution, low wind... the Flinders ticks every box.

And it gets better. Uluru came in at joint 8th, so both of Australia’s spots in the world top 20 are right here in SA and the NT 🙌

Spring is the perfect time to hitch up and head north before the summer heat kicks in.

There's still a few days of School holidays left! Why not plan a day out?

You don't need to go far from Adelaide for a great day out. We have put together some easy road trip ideas the whole family will love:

🐨 Adelaide Hills: Cleland, Hahndorf and Melba's Chocolate Factory
🌊 Victor Harbor: Granite Island, the Horse Drawn Tram and an ice cream on the foreshore
🦒 Monarto Safari Park: Art in the Park runs until 11 October
🏖️ Fleurieu: Port Willunga's old jetty pylons and lunch in McLaren Vale
💧 Morialta: waterfalls, walking trails and koala spotting
🛶 Murray Bridge: a picnic by the river or a cruise on the water

Nature Festival is also on until 11 October, with heaps of free family events across SA.

And if one day isn't enough, turn it into a night or two at a caravan park 🏕️

Heading away this long weekend?
