A few weeks ago, Vinehealth Australia visited the members of the Clare Valley W**e & Grape Association for a regional phylloxera preparedness workshop. The purpose was to bring industry together to refresh our knowledge, review current best practice and strengthen the region’s preparedness and prevention planning.
Clare Valley remains phylloxera-free, and keeping it that way requires ongoing vigilance from everyone who works in, lives in and visits our w**e region. Workshops like this help ensure biosecurity stays firmly front of mind and that our industry continues to apply the latest knowledge and practices to protect our vineyards.
Visitors can play an important role too. Please never enter a vineyard without permission or supervision, and always respect vineyard signage and biosecurity requirements.
Protecting our vines protects our growers, our w**es and the future of the Clare Valley w**e region.
