🌱 The People Behind Rodger Constructions

At Rodger Constructions, it's the people behind our projects who make the real difference, and Peter Moir is a great example of that.

For the past seven years, Peter has been a valued member of our team. If there's a job that needs doing, Peter is always willing to lend a hand.

From truck driving and site deliveries to assisting in our workshop, maintaining our public open spaces, caring for newly planted trees, and supporting site operations wherever needed, Peter's versatility and strong work ethic make him an integral part of Rodger Constructions.

Outside of work, Peter is also an active member of the Warrnambool Coastcare Landcare Network, where he volunteers his time to help improve and protect our local environment.

Last week, Peter took part in National Tree Day, joining fellow volunteers in continuing more than 20 years of revegetation work at the Flume. It was fantastic to see the initiative recognized by the Warrnambool City Council, who shared highlights of the day on their social media.

Maintaining our public open spaces is very much a team effort. Peter is regularly supported by other members of the Rodger Constructions crew, who assist with tree planting, maintenance, mulching, watering, and ensuring these areas continue to thrive long after construction is complete.

Peter also takes great pride in the communities we help create. Living close to our Northern Edge development, he often takes his dog for an evening walk through the public open spaces, keeping an eye on the trees and landscaped areas. It's a reflection of the pride and care he brings to his work every day.

At Rodger Constructions, we believe building communities goes beyond roads and infrastructure. It's about caring for the spaces we create and supporting the communities we work in.

🚧 Another Project Delivered. Another Client Satisfied. 🚧

We're proud to have successfully delivered the civil works at Our Lady Help of Christians School, Warrnambool, on behalf of Magellan Projects.

Our team completed:
✔️ New kerb and channel
✔️ Roadworks and pavement upgrades
✔️ Improved vehicle access
✔️ Additional space for the school's car park

The project was completed under tight timeframes, with works carried out over the school holiday period and into the return of school traffic. Despite some weather-related delays, our experienced crew delivered a safe, efficient, and high-quality outcome with minimal disruption.

🚧 Project Announcement – 2–4 The Esplanade, Dennington 🚧

We're excited to announce that Rodger Constructions has commenced civil infrastructure works for a new 14-lot residential subdivision at 2–4 The Esplanade, Dennington.

Our crew has already begun sewer construction, with stormwater drainage works kicking off this week. Over the coming weeks, we'll also be delivering the underground infrastructure, including:
🔹 Sewer main
🔹 Stormwater
🔹 Water main
🔹 Power trenching
🔹 NBN trenching

While the project presents some challenging rocky ground conditions, our experienced team is well underway and looking forward to delivering another quality outcome.

Weather permitting, we expect to complete our scope of works over the next 10-12 weeks.

Even excavators deserve a spa day.

The crew took some time out for machine clean-ups and routine maintenance to keep the fleet in top shape and ready for the next challenge.

After weeks of mud, dust, and hard work, some of the machines were starting to forget what colour they actually were. Safe to say they’re looking a bit more respectable now and ready to get dirty all over again tomorrow.

Prime seal works were completed today at Northern Edge Estate Stage 14.

Fantastic work by our crew delivering another key stage of the project and moving one step closer to completion.

Fog thick enough to hide the road ahead, but the crews keep moving.

Another cold start on site this morning as teams continue working through challenging winter conditions across our projects in southwest Victoria.

Early starts, heavy machinery, and tough conditions are all part of delivering the infrastructure our communities rely on.

Proud to support our local community.

Today, our team delivered loads of dirt to Merri River School, located alongside our Wollaston Road Upgrade project in Warrnambool, assisting with the construction of a new bike track area for the students to enjoy during playtime and outdoor activities.

Rodger Constructions has shared a strong relationship with the school since its original construction, and it’s great to continue supporting initiatives that create positive spaces for the students and wider school community.

A small gesture that we hope helps make a big difference for the kids.
