There is something incredibly satisfying about watching a vision come to life. This concept perfectly captures the architectural heartbeat of the Merricks Beach House living zone.

The Galley Kitchen: Sleek, functional, and tucked neatly under a plaster bulkhead, creating an intimate, anchored feeling for the chef.

The High-Loft Pavilion: Right next to it, the zone completely opens up. Soaring ceilings and massive floor-to-ceiling windows wash the entire family and dining spaces in beautiful, natural light.

Seamless Flow: An open-plan layout that connects the kitchen, lounge, and the bushland outside without interruption.

It is an understatement to see this amazing new home make a start 🔨, after planning, VCAT and as many hurdles as you could imagine this amazing new farm house 🏡 is about to commence construction.

We are finalizing interior selections as we speak and contracts / permits will be ready ASAP. Giddy up and well done to our clients who have stayed strong through he process it will definitely be worth it. 🏍

Up and coming! 🏠
We are edging ever closer to a start on this beautiful new home located in Gippsland. The simple linear design takes advantage of the landscape and views. It utilises materials and unique form to make for a sleek modern form.

Cant wait to see its site commencement soon.

Regulated 🚷
After returning from a quick trip to Fiji 🏖 where buildings are most simple. Staying in a basic bure with a bathroom, bedroom and living zone its construction is predominantly locally sourced materials and of a privative nature.

Whilst this is a hot 🌞 climate meaning its design provides high levels of ventilation, the ability to close it down and a heavy reliance on air conditioning the building performs quite well. The aircon is solely run off solar and batteries due to its remote location.

It has definitely made me reevaluate our local regulations and how there stringent nature severely impacts design and particularly the cost of construction.

Healthy buildings are not just there thermal performance but there affordability and connection with their external environment.

Carport 🚘
Is there a place for carports in the modern day home? We say ✅.

As dependency on personal vehicles and storage requirements have increased we have been trained to believe that a garage is the minimum standard for a new residential home. Whilst it comes with convenience and luxury it also comes at a price.

Should we bring back the carport in modern housing standards?

Whilst it may not seem overly exciting for all of our complex designer projects we work closely with the engineers and stakeholders inputting their structural design into our architectural model to identify any areas that clash and problem solve how to make the structure and design work in harmony.
