It's all coming together at North Haven.

This week, the finer details are taking centre stage, with beautiful stone benchtops, custom cabinetry and the outdoor entertaining area bringing this coastal home another step closer to completion.

The kitchen is a particular highlight. The natural movement in the stone, paired with classic white cabinetry and contrasting black fixtures, creates a timeless finish.
Outside, the alfresco kitchen is also taking shape, extending the home';s living space and making the most of the coastal lifestyle.

There's still work to be done, but it's exciting to see the design vision becoming a home.

The finishing phase is well and truly underway at North Haven.

There’s a lot happening across the build now, both inside and out.
This week, the team progressed the electrical, solar and ducted air-conditioning fit-offs, while the first stage of joinery servicing was completed. Outside, landscaping and concrete works continued to shape the areas around the home.
And there’s another busy week ahead.

Stone benchtops and splash backs are next, along with the second stage of joinery, bathroom fittings, door hardware, mirrors and further electrical works.
It’s at this stage of a build that hundreds of individual decisions, details and trades start coming together to make the house feel like a finished home.

A successful custom build is more than individual trades doing their part. The real difference is how everything connects.

Stone brings warmth, depth and permanence to a home.

At our North Haven project, the stonework anchors the exterior and gives the contemporary form a grounded, natural quality. The result relies on more than selecting a beautiful material. Scale, colour, texture, placement and workmanship all need to work with the architecture around them.

When those details are considered together, stone becomes more than a finish. It becomes part of the character of the home and will continue to age beautifully over time.

North Haven is moving into the detail stage.

Another productive week on site, with several key elements now complete and the home continuing to take shape inside and out.

This week at North Haven:
Stair footings poured

Concrete pathways completed

Skylight trims and ridge beam works completed

Stone cladding grouted and sealed

Velux skylight remote integration completed

Stage 1 appliance delivery completed

Landscaping formwork continued

Stage 2 painting and downpipe works progressed

Next week, the focus shifts further into fit-off, with electrical, solar, security and ducted air conditioning works commencing, alongside continued landscaping and joinery works.

It’s this stage of a build where the individual details start coming together and the finished home begins to reveal itself.

DA approved? That is a major milestone, but it does not mean the project is ready to break ground just yet.

The pre-construction phase turns an approved design into a buildable plan. Detailed documentation must be completed, engineers and certifiers coordinated, selections confirmed and materials ordered. Each decision affects the next, so resolving the detail early helps prevent avoidable delays, cost surprises and compromises during construction.

North Haven is moving into the details.

This week at 33 The Parade saw another strong round of progress, with the finishes that will ultimately define this home beginning to come together.

Feature timber panelling has been completed in the powder room, joinery has been through final QA, stone benchtops have reached their next check-measure stage, and kitchen, laundry and alfresco fixtures have been checked ahead of fit-off. Plumbing works also continued, including downpipes and pipe inspections.

Outside, the stonework continues to be finished and sealed, while the alfresco cabinetry gives a glimpse of how the outdoor entertaining space is taking shape.
It’s this stage of a custom build where coordination really matters. Multiple trades, finishes and fixtures all need to come together in the right sequence, with quality checked before the next stage begins.
