𧽠After a big winter of nightly soaks, that spa filter cartridge is quietly packed with body oils, lotions, sweat and sunscreen β and no amount of chemicals will fix a clogged filter. If your water's gone cloudy or dull no matter what you throw at it, nine times out of ten the cartridge is the culprit.
Here's how to stay on top of it:
π¦ Rinse it every 1β2 weeks β a good hose-down right through the pleats
π Deep-soak it in filter cleaner every few weeks to strip the oils a rinse can't shift
π Run two cartridges on rotation, so one's always clean and drying while the other works
β³ Replace it when the pleats are frayed, flattened or won't come clean β usually every 12β24 months
Get the filter right and your chemicals do half the work. Not sure if yours is past it? Bring it into any of our four North Brisbane stores and we'll take a look. β¨οΈ
