This Astral pool pump wasn’t delivering its normal flow rate, so our technician pulled it apart to investigate.

Once we got down to the impeller, the cause was obvious — leaves and debris had built up inside the pump, restricting water flow and reducing performance.

A blocked impeller can lead to:
✅ Poor circulation
✅ Reduced filtration
✅ Lower chlorinator efficiency
✅ Increased strain on your pump

After removing the blockage and reassembling the pump, water flow was restored and the system was back operating as it should.

Regular maintenance can help prevent hidden issues like this from turning into costly repairs.
