SOD TURNS AT STOCKLAND’S FIRST LAND LEASE COMMUNITY

Great to join representatives from Stockland and the City of Armadale today to officially mark the construction of new homes at the Stockland Halcyon Wildflower Estate – a $122.2 million community designed for over-55s wanting an active and vibrant lifestyle at Piara Waters.

The project will comprise of 288 architecturally designed, low-maintenance homes with communal resort-style facilities, including a modern clubhouse, a health and wellness centre and an outdoor entertainment precinct for homeowners to enjoy.

As the Minister for Planning and Housing, I welcome this new land lease model, as Western Australia continues to explore innovative solutions to boost housing across the State.

The Cook Labor Government is investing a record $3.2 billion in housing and homelessness measures and private developments like Stockland’s Halycon Wildflower are vital to boost all housing across the continuum and will provide more than 280 new homes for Western Australians.
