Yesterday’s hot day brought out a young, d***y, Red Belly Blake Snake, enjoying the sun in between the concrete blocks of our retaining wall, at home. When we disturbed him, he just went straight back deep in between the concrete blocks.

With the warm weather coming, I’ll have to keep my eyes open. Working in a different state, with different weather, brings different species to keep an eye out for….

LOOK WHO DECIDED TO HAVE LUNCH WITH ME TODAY!!
I was in between jobs today and decided to sit and have lunch at the beach.
Mr Kookaburra flew down and sat next to me and helped me eat my tuna out of my tuna sandwich.
Such a special cheeky boy, he even let me give him a scratch…… 😍
