We are extremely proud to of been apart of the Ben Anderson Barrage project from the beginning.
This month we have been in business for 28 years and this particular project will always be one of our proudest. This project began many years ago when we were engaged by SunWater to redesign and engineer new shutters as the existing shutters were beyond their design life and in critical need of repair. The next process was to manufacture the shutters. It was important to us to use local engineering companies, BME Australia and Alliance Industries manufactured the shutters with exceptional precision and quality that they are known for. We performed all of the Abrasive Blasting and Protective Coatings on the shutters adhering to high quality assurances.
Over the years of the project evolving it has always been bigger for us as a family, as the name sake of the Barrage - Ben Anderson holds a special place in our hearts as my Great Grandfather. He was a Pioneer in irrigation in the Bundaberg area from his farm at Alloway, his strong commitment to his community was to ensure water security was built for generations to come. The Honour of upholding a local Pioneers family name and carrying out this project, gave us pride in what we have accomplished locally.
