🐾 We can’t give every animal a home, but we can help make sure their bowls are full. ❤️

At NthStar Constructions, we’re collecting dog and cat food for Pawkala Animal Welfare to support the animals in their care and the wonderful people who give so much of themselves to look after them.

There’s so much love, time and hard work that goes on behind the scenes, and we’d love to help ease that load a little.

🔥 From significant fire damage to a complete transformation.

This property suffered extensive fire damage after an electrical scooter battery caught fire while charging overnight.

Following the event, NthStar Restoration completed an extensive strip-out and clean, removing fire and water-damaged contents, flooring and wall coverings. This allowed us to fully inspect the property and determine the extent of the damage and works required.

During the inspection, several elements were identified that required upgrading to meet current building and safety requirements, including the electrical and hot water systems. Relevant engineers and consultants were engaged to ensure the reinstatement could be completed safely and in accordance with current requirements.

The reinstatement involved significant structural changes, including the installation of structural beams, relocation of walls, reconstruction of the staircase and new floor systems.

The transformation speaks for itself. 🏡✨

The structural changes provided an opportunity to create a modern, open-plan layout, while new cabinetry, flooring, tiling, fixtures and finishes have transformed the property into a bright, functional and welcoming home.

A great result and an incredible transformation from where this project began. ⭐

A big thank you to all the trades, consultants and contractors involved in bringing this project together.

NthStar is excited to be partnering with some great names across the industry for CAT Claims Uncovered on Friday 30 October at The Ville, Townsville.

Bringing together insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, builders, IEPs and restoration specialists, this event is all about sharing real-world experiences, challenges and solutions from across the CAT claims process.

Different parts of the industry. Different perspectives. One common goal ... better outcomes.

🐾❤️ Some nights stay with you long after they’re over.

The NthStar team recently attended the Pawkala Animal Welfare Charity Gala Dinner, and what an incredibly moving night it was.

We cried. We laughed. We danced. But most of all, we walked away with an even greater appreciation for the incredible people who work tirelessly behind the scenes caring for these animals every single day.

So much of what they do is work we never see. The long hours, the rescues, the care, the heartbreak and the commitment that goes into giving every animal a second chance.

For NthStar, being able to make even a small contribution feels insignificant compared to the time, energy and heart these incredible people give every day, but we are so grateful to support such a meaningful cause.

Thank you for giving a voice to those who don’t have one, because every paw matters. 🐾❤️

⛳️ NthStar for the win! 🏆

Last Friday, the NthStar team had a fantastic day out at the Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers (CQiB) Golf Day, where we were delighted to be one of the sponsors, helping support the wonderful Mater Little Miracles. 💛

And to top off an already great day… one of our NthStar teams took home the WIN! 🏆⛳️

But the wins didn’t stop there! Our very own James also took Nearest to the Pin prize. 🎯👏

Plenty of laughs, some friendly competition and a great opportunity to catch up with so many familiar faces across the industry, all while raising funds for such an important cause.

Safe to say, it was an all-round great day for Team NthStar! 🙌

A huge thank you to CQIB for another fantastic event and for bringing everyone together for such a great cause.

Behind the scenes, our team is working hard to keep projects moving, manage the complexities of commercial and major loss claims, and deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.

A great reminder that even on the busiest days, there’s always time to appreciate the view.

📚🍴 Lunch & Learn at NthStar

Taking time out of our usual day to learn, develop and challenge the way we do things is so important as we continue to grow.

Our latest Lunch & Learn gave the team the opportunity to come together for some valuable training, pick up new ideas and take away a few things we can put into practice moving forward.

Investing in our people and continuing to build our knowledge helps us grow stronger, not only individually, but as a team and as a company.

And of course, a little lunch along the way never hurts! 😊

🎀 NthStar is going PINK this October! 💗

This October, NthStar Constructions is taking part in the Pink Ribbon Breakfast in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On Thursday, 22 October, our team will be coming together for breakfast, wearing pink and raising funds to support vital breast cancer research. 💕

With 1 in 7 women diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, it’s a cause that impacts so many families, friends and communities.

We’re looking forward to seeing the NthStar office turn pink for the day and, most importantly, doing our bit to support NBCF’s vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer. 🎀
