We’re getting closer to the Bridge to Brisbane! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

With race day approaching, Hembrows is continuing to work towards our fundraising goal for The Pyjama Foundation.

This cause is particularly meaningful to Hembrows, with one of our people having volunteered as a Pyjama Angel for the past two years. Through their time as a Pyjama Angel, they’ve seen the difference that consistent support, learning and connection can make in the lives of children and young people in foster care.

The Pyjama Foundation works to support children in foster care through its mentoring and learning programs, helping to create positive relationships and brighter opportunities for the future.

Hembrows has been incredibly grateful for the support received so far, and as the starting line gets closer, we’d love to continue building on that momentum.

📍Project Win | Oxford Street, Bulimba

Hembrows is proud to be partnering with Engage Group once again, continuing a trusted relationship built on delivering high-quality commercial projects across Southeast Queensland.

Our team is currently delivering the HVAC installation for a landmark mixed-use development taking shape in the heart of Bulimba. The development will feature four luxury apartments and a ground-floor commercial tenancy fronting Oxford Street.

As works progress, the project is providing valuable hands-on experience for our apprentices, who are completing specialised HVAC training while working alongside our experienced Tradesman. Hembrows is looking for a reliable, organised Storeperson to join our team at Underwood.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start, supporting our warehouse and field teams across South East Queensland.

🔧 What you’ll be doing:
• Receiving and dispatching goods
• Stocktake and pick packing
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Delivery drop-offs and collections
• Preparing gear for upcoming works
• General warehouse duties

👷 About you:
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items
• Organised with good time management
• Reliable, positive and willing to get stuck in

Project Update | Rivermakers Work Stores – Morningside

Hembrows Electrical has been engaged to deliver the design and construct of electrical and mechanical services.

Our team has completed the electrical and mechanical rough ins, with the rooftop air conditioning units successfully craned into position. Civil infrastructure works have also progressed, finalising this week.

The team has a big month ahead carrying out the fit off on Electrical & Mechanical, along with the installation of a rooftop solar system to enhance the development's sustainability.

🏃‍♂️ Hembrows is hitting the pavement for a great cause! 🏃‍♀️

This year marks our fifth Bridge to Brisbane. Each year we choose a charity to support, and this year we're honoured to be fundraising for The Pyjama Foundation.

Our connection to this incredible organisation is a personal one. One of our own team members volunteers as a Pyjama Angel, dedicating their time to supporting children in foster care through learning, mentoring and meaningful relationships. Seeing the impact of this work first-hand made choosing this year's charity an easy decision.

Safety isn’t just about meeting compliance requirements; it’s about creating a culture where safe work practices become second nature.

At Hembrows, our team works across residential, commercial, industrial, civil infrastructure and renewable energy projects throughout Queensland. Keeping our skills and training current is essential to delivering every project safely, professionally, and to the highest standard.

Over the past few months, our team has completed refresher training in CPR, LVR (Low Voltage Rescue), and Pole Top Rescue. These critical qualifications ensure our people have the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations while continuing to work safely in the field.

Regular refresher training is about more than renewing certifications. It keeps safety front of mind, reinforces strong work practices, and provides our team with the opportunity to build confidence, stay current with industry best practice, and support new team members as they develop their careers.

A big thank you to Intuitive Training and Consulting for delivering this important training and supporting our ongoing commitment to keeping our team safe, capable, and prepared for every job.

Building the future of the electrical industry starts with investing in apprentices.

Congratulations to Marten, Campbell, Jackson and Tom who have officially completed their apprenticeships and successfully passed their capstones. 👏

Over the past few years, they’ve shown the commitment, resilience and willingness to learn that’s required to become qualified electricians in a constantly evolving industry.

At Hembrows, apprenticeships have always played an important role in our business, and through our long-standing partnership with TAFE Queensland, we continue to support initiatives that help develop the next generation of electricians with the skills our evolving industry requires.

We’re proud to see all four continue their careers with Hembrows and look forward to seeing their growth as part of the future of our industry. ⚡

Powering the next stage of Green Road - Park Ridge. ⚡

Our Energy team recently completed electrical & communications infrastructure to support 143 new home sites in Park Ridge.

The project included augmentations to the External Infrastructure to tie in this new Estate.

Our construction team delivered:

· Transformers
· Light Poles
· Pillars
· NBN Infrastructure
· HV & LV cabling

Our Design team A&H Engineering worked tirelessly to deliver Energex & NBN approved plans allowing construction to be delivered on Program.

Energy Fleet also featured on this project providing clean energy for the temp site sheds.
