Prowire Fabrication Division is on the hunt for two skilled Boilermaker Welders to strengthen our fabrication team. If you take pride in precision welding and want steady, well-paid work across a mix of workshop and site projects, we want to talk to you.

Boilermakers holding a CN, RB, or RI ticket are encouraged to apply.

💥Pay Rates
Full-Time: $40.71–$44.99 per hour, based on your skill level and experience

Casual: $50.88–$56.24 per hour, based on your skill level and experience

💥Allowances
$2.00/hour site allowance for site-based work

Living Away From Home Allowance (LAHA) of $95 where applicable

💥Conditions
Double time on overtime (apart from the first two hours on Fridays, paid at time-and-a-half)

💥What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or a recognised equivalent)

Solid hands-on experience welding and fabricating both ferrous and non-ferrous metals

Openness to picking up new welding processes and techniques over time

The judgement to work unsupervised without cutting corners on quality

A genuine focus on doing the job safely

Willingness to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing

Full working rights in Australia

Prowire Group – Casual Workshop Storeman / Manager (1–3 Days Per Week – Flexible)

Prowire Technologies is a growing industrial electrical and infrastructure contractor based in Tasmania. We are seeking a Workshop Storeman / Manager to join our team in a casual role. This position is ideally suited to a semi-retired electrician or experienced tradesperson looking for reduced and flexible working hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to remain active in the industry without committing to full-time employment.

✅ About the Role

You will be responsible for the efficient operation of the workshop and stores, including:

• Setting up shelving and cataloguing current stock
• Managing stock on hand and maintaining inventory levels
• Receiving, checking, and organising incoming goods
• Preparing materials and equipment for upcoming projects
• Preparing Treff labels
• Delivering materials to worksites as required

👷 About You

• Trade qualified electrician or strong industry background preferred
• Well organised, reliable, and hands-on approach
• Able to work independently and take initiative

⏰ Hours

Casual – approximately 1–3 days per week, flexible to suit
