A reel I completed for Edge Above Sheetmetal & Roofing that is too good not to share here as well. A stunning final handover shot at sunrise for a beautiful building in the most perfect light.

This shoot had one job: make look like the obvious choice for commercial work this size.
Before we picked up a camera, we talked about what the photos actually needed to do. Not just document a roof going on, but show the scale of it — the size of the shed, the crew working at height, the kind of job that makes a potential client think "these are the guys for a project this size."
That's what you're looking at. High-end imagery, shot to put Edge Above in front of exactly the commercial work they want more of.
Strategy first. Camera second. Every time.
If you want content built to win you more of the work you actually want, that's what we do.

Clients don't hire a building. They hire the people who show up, get it right, and clean up after themselves. So show them. The crew mid-task beats a perfect photo of an empty room every time.
That's who they're really saying yes to.

10 simple photos

1. A detail shot of your best finish. The join, the trim, the tile line — close up. This is the one that proves your workmanship. Nothing else does it as fast.
2. A tidy site mid-job. Tools squared away, offcuts stacked, floors swept. A clean site tells a client exactly how you'll treat their place.
3. Your crew actually working. Someone on the tools, mid-task. People buy people — an empty finished room can't build trust the way a face can.
4. Before and after, same angle. Two photos, one framing. The transformation does all the talking with zero words needed.
5. The ute or truck with your branding, on site. Free advertising that proves you're a real, turn-up business — not a bloke with a phone number.
6. A close-up of hands doing the work. Gloved hands on a tool, laying a brick, running a bead. Simple, honest, and it screams craft.
7. A wide shot of the finished job in good light. Early morning or late arvo. This is your "hero" — pretty, yes, but it earns its spot as the scroll-stopper.
8. You, the owner, on site. A straight portrait in your gear. Puts a face to the business so a stranger feels like they've half-met you already.
9. A materials or product shot. The good decking, the quality cladding, laid out before it goes on. Shows you don't cut corners on what goes into a job.
10. A team photo at the end of a build. The whole crew in front of the finished work. Proof there's a real outfit behind the name.

Posting to socials always ends up last on the list. We get it — you're on the tools, not on your phone.
That's the bit we take off your plate.
We shoot the work, write the posts, and put them up — so your feed keeps ticking over while you get on with the job. No "what do I post today?", no photos sitting in your camera roll for six months, no guilt about going quiet for a fortnight.
You do what you're good at. We make sure the right people see it.
Show the work. Win more of it.

You can tell people you do good work, but, they’ll believe your customers first. 96% of people read reviews before they pick a business.
Which means a testimonial isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s proof. Your happy customers are out there doing your selling for you — you’ve just got to capture it and put it where people can see it.
A quick video of a client saying “these blokes turned up, did what they said, cleaned up after themselves” will win you more work than any ad you could write about yourself.
Get the words from the people who paid you. Then show them off.
📌 Save this for the next time you finish a job — that’s the moment to ask.

Are your socials backing up your reputation, or letting it go cold? According to the 2026 Digital Australia Report 60% of Aussies are checking your socials before they commit to anything. Have a look at your last post and be honest, is this where you want 60% of your leads to land?

Frame day with TCB Build. Everyone posts the finished house. Not many show the graft that gets it there — and that’s exactly the stuff that earns trust and wins the next job.
Good work deserves to be seen at every stage, not just the reveal.
Builders across the North-West — if that’s you, DM to start.
