We're creating a new garden bed using Hügelkultur, an ancient German method that's zero-dig and eco-friendly.

Here's how it works:
• Layer rotting logs & branches
• Add organic debris
• Top with soil
As the wood breaks down, it'll retain moisture, release nutrients & warm our soil, ready to plant our salad vegetables.

Now we need your help:
- Recommendations for decking oil to finish off the outside?
- Know any great sources of topsoil?

🌧️ wet weather plan:

Today is the day for our Christmas party!! Will the threat of a shower hold this community back….no way!!

We have all of the fun happening inside the hall but let’s keep the ‘no rain dances’ going to hold it off till later so we can still play outside too!

Bring $$ to enter our amazing raffle. $2 a ticket or 3 for $5. This is our major fund raiser to keep events happening 🎉

Entertainment by Brad von Rock will be awesome!

Food trucks will be there so either stay and eat or grab a takeaway if you don’t want to stick around for the whole night.

While we would still love to see your bike dressed up and your pet, we wont have
an official competition.

We can’t wait to see you to celebrate what was an amazing year in our beautiful community.
