Its been such a busy 2024 that Iā€™ve just realised I havenā€™t kept my Facebook very up to date. So, hereā€™s a quick intro incase you want to know if Iā€™m the right business for you.

Iā€™m Josh, Iā€™ve been a carpenter for 14 years & the owner of Capes Building Co for the last 4 years. Recently, Iā€™ve moved the business up to the Central Coast, now located out of Tumbi Umbi but servicing the whole area

I look after all aspects of carpentry, no job too big or small. I really enjoy creating amazing outdoor living spaces, whether that be decks, carports, cladding or anything in between. Equally I love making indoor spaces new & exciting - whether that be new flooring, window & door installation or a classic wall removal.

Out with the old and in with the new.

We have this front entrance a Hamptons facelift with this custom front door and sidelights. And replaced these tired old windows with new stacker doors to allow for a seamless connection from the new kitchen to the outdoor space.

We recently gave this front deck a facelift.

Original rotten posts replaced with new Merbau posts and handrail with aluminium balustrade for longevity.

Some before and after photos of this Spotted Gum deck we completed recently.

This tired old original deck was replaced with a new steel frame courtesy of Spantec to provide longevity.

Flashings were added between the new frame to allow for a waterproof ceiling below.

All topped of with 86mm Spotted Gum decking.
