A significant project milestone for GNM Group: the last pipe has been laid.

Our team is proud to have contributed to the Cairns Water Security Stage 1 Project, working alongside Holland to help deliver critical water infrastructure for Regional Council.

Following two years of construction and the installation of approximately 30 kilometres of pipeline across the Gordonvale, Aloomba and Behana Gorge communities, the final section of pipeline has now been installed, and works are progressing towards staged commissioning. The new water supply is expected to become operational in mid-2027, strengthening Cairns’ long-term water security and supporting the region’s future growth.

GNM Group is proud to have contributed to this milestone as part of the broader project delivery team.

Reaching the final pipe installation represents more than the completion of a construction activity. It reflects the collective effort, technical capability and commitment of the many people and organisations involved in delivering this complex and important project.

We are proud to have played a part in delivering infrastructure that will provide lasting benefits for the Cairns community.

Congratulations to everyone involved. An outstanding milestone for an exceptional regional infrastructure project.

A huge congratulations to Brad, also known as the Trout Master, on celebrating 5 years with GNM Group QLD.

As our Commercial Operations Manager, Brad plays an important role in keeping operations moving, supporting our team, and helping deliver outcomes across our civil, commercial and domestic projects.

Brad brings a great mix of experience, reliability, humour and practical know-how to the business, and we are very grateful for the contribution he has made over the past five years.
