Getting ready for the NQ Reeling Veterans Family Fun Day at Bushland Beach Tavern! 🎣🌿

The excavators are getting stuck into the weeds and helping get the grounds cleaned up and ready for a great day supporting our local veterans.

A big thanks to Ausfield Services for lending us an excavator to help get the job done! 🙌

We’re proud to support NQ Reeling Veterans and the incredible work they do for veterans and their families across North Queensland.

A little bit of work behind the scenes now, ready for plenty of fun on the day! We’re looking forward to seeing the community come together for such a great cause.

Take Pride Landscaping | Balgal Beach

Take Pride Landscaping is a growing, family-owned local business, and we’re looking for a professional, personable and highly organised Administration Assistant to join our team.

You’ll work closely with our Directors and help keep the day-to-day operations of our busy landscaping business running smoothly.

The role will include:

* Answering and making customer phone calls
* Managing enquiries and following up customers
* Organising site visits, quotes and schedules
* General accounts, invoicing and administration
* Liaising with trades and suppliers
* Organising materials and following up orders
* Emails, record keeping and general office duties
* Assisting the Directors with day-to-day organisation

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident, reliable and organised, with the ability to work independently and use their initiative.

Experience in administration is preferred, with experience dealing with trades, construction businesses and suppliers highly regarded.

THE DETAILS

* 2–3 days per week to start, with the opportunity for hours to expand
* School hours welcome
* Flexible on permanent or casual for the right person
* Pay rate to be discussed based on experience
* Company phone and laptop provided
* Based primarily from our Balgal Beach office
* Some work-from-home flexibility where required
* Our Townsville office will also be opening soon

PHASE 1 — LET THE MAKEOVER BEGIN 💥🚜

Kicking off this full property makeover with some serious earthworks.

Old concrete stairwells? Gone.
Unwanted concrete? Gone.
Site stripped back and ready for a completely new look.

The rock breaker and excavators have been earning their keep as we clear out the old and get the groundwork sorted for what’s coming next.

This is only Phase 1 — plenty more to come as we transform this place from the ground up. 👊
