🏆 WE WON!!
Last night, Go To Painting was awarded Commercial Contractor of the Year at the Master Builders Queensland 2026 Awards for the North QLD region - and I am still pinching myself!
This win belongs to the team that dedicated skills and time on the ground in Ingham, to the team behind the scenes keeping everything moving - every one of you had a hand in this.
The Hinchinbrook Shire Council project was 5,206 m² across two sites, in a North Queensland summer, in just 15 days. Our team navigated heatwaves, an active public precinct, and an architecturally unique roof unlike anything we had painted before — and they delivered it on time, within budget, and to a standard we are genuinely proud of.
This project was more than a painting job. It was part of the Council's sustainability commitment to their community — and being trusted to deliver on that meant everything to us.
To the whole Go To Painting team - you are the reason I stood on stage to accept the award. Thank you. 🙏
