When the client came to Fabric, the brief was refreshingly open: they didn’t want another flat, forgettable façade, they wanted something distinctive, tactile, and unmistakably theirs. It’s the kind of brief we love most, one that hands us room to experiment rather than fall back on convention. Walnut panelling, channel-tufted leather booths and hits of olive green throughout, every detail was chosen to make you want to settle in and stay a while. And yes, the signage is doing a lot of the talking too. “Later on is later on.” “This is the place.” No notes.
