This Friday Leanne Phillips will be taking on the 50km Coastrek Sunshine Coast challenge, walking from Noosa to Mooloolaba (what TERRIBLE scenery :)) Electrical Sensations is proud to sponsor & support Leanne on the walk to help Beyond Blue support people battling depression, anxiety & mental health challenges.
But, Coastrek is not just a one day walk. It’s the culmination of months of training, lllooonnnggg walks, early mornings & tired legs.
Leanne has teamed up with Annemarie Lyons from Health by Numb3rs to take on the challenge. Team "1 Step At A Time" is symbolic of how people manage mental health issues. 1 moment at a time. 1 day at a time. 1 step at a time.
Leanne & Annemarie will push their bodies through pain & discomfort for a few hours, knowing that there's a finish line & light at the end of the tunnel. But people battling depression & anxiety, they can't always see that light....
