JOB OPPORTUNITY — CARPENTER

Every weekend is a long weekend.

Matchett Constructions runs a four-day week — Monday to Thursday, full 40 hours, no pay cut. We're hiring an experienced carpenter to join the team in Toowoomba.
We build custom new homes, renovations and extensions. Renovation experience matters here — you'll need to read plans and engineering drawings confidently, problem-solve on existing structures, and work tight with the rest of the crew.
The deal:
• 4-day roster — every Friday off
• Above-award rates for the right person
• Fuel card included
• All work in and around Toowoomba — home every night
• Quality jobs you'll be proud to put your name to

One of the best decisions we’ve made at Matchett Constructions is implementing a 4-day work week.

For our team, it means a 3-day weekend every week—while still hitting their 40 hours and getting the job done properly.

For our family, it’s been a game changer.
