We’re incredibly proud to share that our Long Street project took home the award for Home Renovation Project from $1 million up to $2 million at Friday night’s Master Builders Awards.

We undertook a complete transformation of this existing Rangeville residence — reconfiguring spaces, renovating the kitchen, bathrooms and living areas, adding a new pool and double garage, and delivering the custom joinery and detailed finishes that define the finished home.

A huge part of the result came through collaboration, working alongside Alisco Design and Ange Smith Interiors to bring the architectural and interior design vision to life. It required communication, precision and close coordination between designers, builder and trades at every stage, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved together.

Renovations of this scale always bring challenges. Existing structures reveal surprises, old and new need to come together seamlessly, and there are countless details to resolve along the way.

That’s also what makes receiving an award like this so rewarding.

It recognises not only the finished home, but the craftsmanship, problem-solving and work of an entire team behind it.

A huge thank you to , , and every trade, supplier and member of the Mark Winter Constructions team who played a part in bringing Long Street together.

We’re very proud to see our Long Street Project recognised.

A little glimpse behind the scenes of what's about to happen at Brook House...

We're preparing for one of the most significant stages of the build. A suspended concrete slab pour that will form the foundation for everything that follows.

On a site as complex as Table Top Drive, milestones like this don't happen by chance. They represent months of planning, engineering, collaboration and precision, with every detail carefully considered before the concrete even arrives.

We're excited to share this next chapter of the journey... Stay tuned.

Big windows and energy efficiency aren't mutually exclusive - if you plan it right.

At this Rangeville home, the large eastern-facing picture window was carefully positioned to flood the living spaces with natural morning light while avoiding the heat gain that west or north-facing glazing would bring. Paired with quality insulation and energy-efficient systems throughout, the home is comfortable year-round without working against the climate.

Passive design principles don't have to be invisible features buried in the walls. The biggest sustainability move is also the most beautiful part of the home.

Building better isn't just about how a home looks - it's about how it performs for years to come.

This Middle Ridge renovation incorporated energy-efficient lighting, upgraded insulation, and a layout thoughtfully oriented to take advantage of passive heating and cooling.

Small decisions at the design stage that make a real difference to comfort and running costs over time. Pairing sustainable practices with high-end finishes and quality construction is something we're proud to deliver - proving that an environmentally considered build and a beautiful result aren't a trade-off.

This is modern residential construction done right.

A window this size isn't just a design choice - it's an engineering challenge!

The centrepiece of this Rangeville home is a large-format picture window to the eastern façade, engineered to deliver an unobstructed view of Table Top Mountain without compromising structural integrity or thermal performance. Getting it right required precise structural planning, specialist glazing solutions, and a level of ex*****on where there's no room for error.

The result is seamless - a window that reads as an architectural statement from the street and as a living, ever-changing piece of art from inside the home.

When the build is this precise, the design gets to speak for itself.

Imagine renovating a home from hundreds of kilometres away… our clients did exactly that, and we made sure the experience was seamless.

Moving from Emerald to Toowoomba, this family couldn't be on-site to oversee their renovation day to day. That meant regular updates, detailed documentation, proactive decision-making, and a level of communication that kept them informed and confident at every stage - no surprises, no stress.

Managing a complex, design-led renovation remotely is a challenge we embraced, and the outcome proves that distance is no barrier to an exceptional result.

If you're planning a renovation but can't be there in person - we've got you covered.

Some homes are built on a block. This one was built around a view.

Perched in Gormans Gap Estate, Preston, this custom residence was designed from the ground up to face east and embrace sweeping valley views toward Brisbane. Every decision from the positioning of the living areas to the choice of materials was made in response to the site.

The result is a home that feels genuinely connected to its surroundings: rammed earth, polished concrete, and Knotwood cladding coming together to create something warm, considered, and unmistakably Queensland.

The best sustainable features are the ones you barely notice - because the home just feels right.

This Preston home was designed with passive principles at its core. Its eastern orientation welcomes soft morning light while shielding the interior from harsh afternoon sun. The rammed earth wall acts as a natural thermal buffer, absorbing heat through the day and releasing it gradually overnight. Add hydronic underfloor heating and quality insulation, and you have a home that's genuinely comfortable year-round - without working against its environment to get there.

High performance and high design. Proof that you don't have to choose.

From dated to stunning… this residential renovation in Middle Ridge is a testament to what thoughtful design and skilled construction can achieve.

We undertook a comprehensive transformation of an existing home - reconfiguring the layout, opening up living spaces, and upgrading everything from the kitchen and bathrooms through to the street frontage.

The result? A modern, high-performing family home that respects the character of the streetscape while delivering a fresh, contemporary feel throughout.

From concept to completion, this project reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship, strong project management, and outcomes that genuinely exceed client expectations.

When builders and interior designers work together, the results speak for themselves.

On this Rangeville renovation, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Angela Smith Interiors to bring a carefully curated design vision to life. From the colour palette and material selections through to the custom joinery and detailed finishing elements - every decision was considered, coordinated, and executed with precision.
