GFG Projects is proud to announce the completion of Mangrove Housing Capalaba - a meaningful social housing development delivered in partnership with Mangrove Community Homes.

Delivered as part of The Forgotten Women program, the project was designed to support women over 55 experiencing homelessness by providing safe, secure, and appropriate accommodation.

The development comprises a new four-storey residential building featuring 15 one-bedroom single occupancy units, creating a supportive environment that will have a lasting positive impact within the community.

We are incredibly proud to have partnered with Mangrove Housing to deliver this important project and contribute to meaningful housing outcomes for vulnerable women.

Adding to this milestone, the project has also been nominated in the Social Housing Project category at the 2026 Brisbane Master Builders Queensland Awards.

GFG Projects was proud to sponsor Twilight on the Tarmac at Goondiwindi Airport - an incredible evening bringing the community together for a meaningful cause.

The event was a huge success, raising vital funds for the Nerve Connection Foundation to support important research led by a Toowoomba-based neurologist. This work plays a critical role in advancing understanding and treatment of neuromuscular diseases, including Motor Neurone Disease, Muscular Dystrophy and Pompe Disease.

GFG Projects are proud to have hosted the launch of this year’s Gold Coast Vinnies CEO Sleepout at our St Vincent de Paul social housing project site in Nerang, alongside The Hon. Samuel O’Connor, Minister for Housing and Public Works and Minister for Youth.

Currently under construction, this development will deliver 60 apartments providing both social and affordable housing - thoughtfully designed to foster comfort, dignity, and a strong sense of community.

This milestone project represents the largest housing initiative in the 130-year history of St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland, and the first in a pipeline set to deliver 500 homes for Queenslanders in need.

GFG Projects is privileged to play a role in such a meaningful and impactful initiative.

Vinnies QLD

Progress is taking shape at our Brown & Hurley project in Toowoomba.

This extension to the existing workshop is coming together, delivering three new workshop bays and a covered parts storage area to support day-to-day operations. Key features include a hardened concrete floor, 10T gantry crane, industrial fans, and multiple motorised roller doors, all designed to enhance efficiency and functionality on site.

Works are also underway on new driveways and upgraded service areas, helping to future-proof the facility for continued growth.

GFG Projects is excited to commence works on the Goondiwindi Department Store redevelopment, located on the corner of Marshall Street and Herbert Street.

Delivered on behalf of Arthur Schofield & Co, this project marks an important investment in the local town centre. Construction is now underway, with completion scheduled for late 2026.

We look forward to bringing this project to life and contributing to the continued growth of the Goondiwindi community.

As a Project Manager, Dan is involved across design development, programme and methodology planning, financial control, and stakeholder coordination - guiding projects from concept through to completion.

Passionate about proactive collaboration, Dan understands that successful delivery relies on strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, and takes pride in aligning teams towards a shared outcome.
