Meet the Owners
At Ausmite Pest Management, we’re proud to be a family-owned and operated business built on hard work, experience, and genuine care for our community. Gillian has spent over 20 years working in the aged care and disability industry, bringing compassion, organisation, and people-first values into the business. Originally from Narrabeen on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, she made the move to Toowoomba 6 years ago and now helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes in the office.
Shannan, originally from Millmerran, brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in pest control across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Before finding his passion in pest management, he worked as a carpenter and managed pubs locally—giving him a strong work ethic and great understanding of customer service. In 2023.
Shannan and Gillian combined their skills and experience to start Ausmite Pest Management, with a focus on reliable service, honest advice, and treating every customer like family. When they’re not working, you’ll find them spending time with family, out fishing, or enjoying their love of V8 muscle cars.
