Back at our Mitchelton refurbishment, a raked roof has been used to create a subtle distinction between the kitchen and living spaces while maintaining the openness of the floor plan.

The additional ceiling height introduces a greater sense of volume and scale to this otherwise compact design, while also drawing northern sunlight deep into the interior.

We’re excited to finally share the first design images for this Queenslander reinstatement project!

This home has given us the unique opportunity to restore much of the traditional character that had previously been stripped away through earlier renovations and additions — while introducing a refined, contemporary interpretation.

A careful balance of old and new, designed to celebrate the home’s original identity while making it work beautifully for modern living.
