Perforated Doorway Sunshades | Form and Function

A sunshade over a doorway does two jobs at once. It softens the sun on the entry and gives the facade a deliberate architectural line.

On this project we installed 6mm solid and perforated aluminium doorway sunshades on outriggers above the entries. Fabricated by FABCO, installed by our team for Peach.

Window Shrouds | Defining Modern Facades

A window shroud can change the way an entire facade comes together.

Beyond shading glass and adding privacy, it introduces depth, proportion and definition to an otherwise flat elevation. Whether it’s a commercial development, residential project or high-end home, the detail needs to feel considered at every scale.

We fabricate each shroud to suit the facade it belongs to, so it reads as part of the architecture rather than something fitted afterwards.

Automation | Matched to the Project

The right gate motor is not about brand, it is about the job. A swing gate, a sliding gate and a boom all move differently and carry different loads, so each one calls for a different motor.

That is the thinking we bring to every project. A Beninca TOM 5024 on high-end residential swing gates, a Beninca motor sized to the span on commercial sliders, EVA 8 and EVA 7 booms on high-traffic commercial entries. Same brand for reliability, the model chosen for the gate in front of us.

We work it through with the builder so the automation is right from the start, and the gate still runs smoothly years down the track.

Commercial Boom Gate Package

Vehicle access on a commercial site has a lot of moving parts, gates, motors, safety hardware, all of which have to work as one system.

We deliver it as a single package, so the builder has one team accountable for the lot.

For this project in Sunshine, we handled the full access installation, a Beninca EVA 8 on the 8 metre entry and an EVA 7 on the 7 metre exit, each sized to its span, with keypad, bollards, safety sensors and exit loop.

Truganina | Collaboration on Site

At 20 Triton Drive in Truganina, BNG Australia and Forever Bright are working side by side. We are delivering the aluminium and balustrade works while Forever Bright takes care of the exterior cladding, with horizontal window battens to follow in stage two.

Running both trades as one coordinated team is what keeps the facade reading as a single considered surface rather than two scopes meeting at a seam.

It is the first commercial site of a partnership we expect to bring to a lot more builds.

South Yarra | Nearing Completion

Our South Yarra project is in its final stages.

Black aluminium louvred screening runs across the full facade, fabricated and installed by our team from the first panel to the last. The front fence and service areas are being completed over the coming weeks to finish the job.

Looking forward to sharing the finished site once it is done.

Good coordination starts before installation. On our Truganina project with Forever Bright, both teams have been working together from the start, our work set out alongside their facade cladding as the build takes shape.

Planning both trades together means the details meet cleanly on site, rather than one being adjusted around the other later.

For builders, that means less rework and fewer surprises where two trades meet.
