Another one wrapped up 👌

Limestone retaining wall and pool fencing all finished, creating a much more usable area around the house.

The retaining has opened up the yard, giving the clients a heap more level, functional space while the black pool fencing finishes it off nicely and ties the whole area together.

Big difference from where we started I’ll attach some before photos at the end. Always satisfying seeing a job like this come together. Now it’s ready for the landscaping and finishing touches! 💪 onto the next for the hocking bricklaying crew 🧱✅

Good to see the back of this one! 😅 Huge thanks to the clients for sticking it out with me until the end. 😂

We had a bit of a scheduling hiccup with the limestone blocks taking much longer than expected to arrive, which pushed the job back by a few months. But in the end, it all came up schmick!

✅ New retaining wall
✅ Colourbond fencing installed on top
✅ Around 60 tonnes of backfill and topsoil brought in, spread, and levelled, ready for grass

The gates are still to come after the supplier sent the wrong ones. 🥴 Just one last thing to tick off.

All in all, a great result. On to the next one for the Hocking Bricklaying & Construction crew ✅🧱

Another milestone for the team—our largest project completed to date.
We laid over 26,000 bricks, completed double-face brickwork, and carried out the final brick clean for this new childcare centre in Maddington.
The builder was behind schedule, so we were brought in to help get the project back on track. Proud of the team's effort to deliver under pressure.
We'll be back soon to capture some finished photos. In the meantime, it's on to the next few projects that were waiting while we wrapped this one up. Onto the next 🧱✅
