Construction is continuing to take shape at our Powder Coat facility project for Star Property Investments.

With all structural steel and precast concrete wall panels now installed, the project has reached another exciting milestone, with external sheeting well and truly underway.

It’s great to see the building progressing and the facility starting to come together. We look forward to sharing more updates as construction continues.

Onsite in Rutherford with Wheeler Cranes & Services Pty Ltd last week as we kicked off the structural steel installation for our warehouse and office infill development. Looking forward to seeing this development continue to take shape over the coming weeks.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 - Light Industrial Units, Jesmond NSW

ATB Morton was engaged to present a detailed design & construction package, which included the initial design optimisation, development consent modification and final construction for a bespoke inner city industrial units development. This unique project featured intricate design works to facilitate construction around an existing on site tenant, existing services and historical usage. The project included;
- Construction of 14 light industrial units
- Industrial units ranged from 95sqm to 116sqm
- Each unit comes equipped with amenities & mezzanines
- All units are fully serviced and NBN ready
- Construction and upgrade of existing external concrete pavement areas

A milestone that reflects four and a half decades of innovation, dedication, and trusted partnerships. For 45 years, ATB Morton has proudly delivered excellence, built lasting relationships, and contributed to the success of countless projects. We thank our employees, clients, and partners for being part of this remarkable journey and look forward to an exciting future together.

We held a celebratory lunch last week with staff from all divisions of the ATB Group, to share our gratitude for the support and hard work everyone has shown over the years, we wouldn't be here without our employees.

Cheers to 45 years of achievement and the many milestones still to come!

Last Friday, we participated in another Ronald McDonald House Newcastle Big Brekkie program, with six of us from various divisions of the ATB Morton Group arriving at the House, bright and early, ready to cook breakfast for the families.

Attending the house is a heartwarming and humbling experience, meeting the families is truly rewarding and helps to bring your own life into perspective. What may seem like a simple breakfast for us, is a home cooked meal for them, a small element of normality amongst an otherwise stressful and unsettling time.

Can't wait for the next one in a few months time!

𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 - 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 & 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗦𝗪

ATB Morton was invited to provide a new design and construction proposal for an infill development within an existing Rutherford warehouse & office facility.

The site features an existing split development footprint with a dedicated office facility fronting the streetscape and a warehouse facility addressing the rear of the site, with an undeveloped central parking and storage area. Our client wished to enhance the site developable area and provide flexibility with the proposed addition by way of creating additional facilities for their existing tenant or alternatively creating a second tenancy area.

ATB Morton prepared a full design and construction offer utilising a Complying Development Certificate approval pathway to deliver the functional expansion of onsite operations in the shortest approval time frame.

The final building form will deliver a warehouse with ground floor office and amenities with an additional mezzanine office space. Integration with the existing building and complementary design ensure the final structure will have a cohesive and functional layout enhancing the existing site layout.

It was a pleasure to participate in the New.E. (Hunter New Energy) Symposium Showcase a few weeks ago, alongside representatives from HunterNet Cooperative and the region's energy and manufacturing sectors.

The group toured several of our Tomago-based operations, beginning at Advanciv before visiting Hunter Galvanizing and the Steel division of CIA Precast & Steel. We were delighted by the positive feedback and strong engagement throughout the visit.

We value opportunities such as these to connect with industry peers, exchange ideas, and showcase the capabilities of our businesses. We look forward to continuing these conversations and strengthening relationships across the sector.

May marked the Cancer Council Australia season!

Our Head Office team celebrated with some delicious treats and raised a little over $600 for the charity. Cancer is something that we are all affected by, whether directly or indirectly, it's great to be able to gather as a team and raise vital funds for a well deserving organisation.
