Apologies, I’ve been a bit slack lately on the updates. That’s purely because we’ve been so busy!

Today’s tricky task was to alleviate some overland water flow from the clients backyard onto their patio area.

This was completed with the installation of stainless steel grated channel drain, as well as some sub surface Ag drainage and an additional surface water collection pit.

The channel drain was introduced on two sides of the patio area with the corner mitred for that seamless look. The channel sits on a concrete base for support, the sides were also reinforced with concrete and the backfill compacted to prevent subsidence and undermining.

This one came up a treat and should keep the clients Manly West patio, water free for years to come.

It looks like we got to this flex 💪🏼 hose just in time.

The client contacted us to replace their kitchen mixer tap as it had started to leak from the top cartridge seal.

When the cupboard was accessed to isolate the water and disconnect the mixer, this is what we found.😳

These flex hoses would have to be some of the worst I’ve seen.
And miraculously the hot hose was hanging on for dear life and hadn’t burst.

Just a reminder to check the condition of all of your water supply flex hoses in your house regularly. If they show any signs of rust, kinks or deterioration, or if you’re not aware of how old they are get in contact with us and get them checked and replaced.

If in doubt, swap them out!

The alternative could cost you an astonishing amount of money and stress. And your insurance may not cover you in some circumstances.

We’ve been busy, despite the weather. ⛈️
We’ve been out rain or shine looking after our clients and getting the job done!

With the recent rain, stormwater and guttering issues have made themselves more apparent.
With our obligation free quotes and advice, we are helping get these problems solved once and for all.

We’ve also started another exciting project with under slab sanitary drainage and stormwater being completed at our Inala secondary dwelling/ Granny flat. We narrowly beat the weather to have all pipework complete, tested and certified by the local authority. @
