The last month has been absolutely massive as we helped our customers lock in battery systems before the rebate drop.

We installed a wide range of systems, from 20kWh setups through to large 48kWh configurations, using Sungrow, Sigenergy and GoodWe equipment.

It’s been a full-on few weeks, but great to see so many homes and businesses now set up with reliable battery storage.

Now it’s time for a short, well-earned recharge before we get stuck back into it

We’ve just finished this system featuring a 10kW Sungrow hybrid inverter, 10kw of Solar PV, Sungrow SBH200 battery system (20kWh), switchboard upgrade, and whole-home blackout protection.

Power outages on Russell Island can last for days, so this install was all about giving the homeowner real peace of mind. Now, when the grid goes down, the home stays powered.

This was a great example of sizing a system to suit the customer properly. For a single-person household, there was no need to oversell a massive battery system. Instead, we designed a setup that matches her actual energy needs, budget, and long-term goals — with quality equipment built to last.

t’s been a busy few weeks for the Solair Electrical team, with a number of solar and battery installs recently completed across the Redlands.

Our crew has been putting in some big days as demand picks up ahead of the May 1 rebate drop, helping local households get their systems installed in time.

A big thanks to our team for the effort they’ve put in on site, and to our customers for their patience and support during a very busy period.

Toowong switchboard transformation ⚡️🏡

This 100+ year old property started life as a dual-occupancy. The new owners wanted everything under one meter—so we decommissioned the old meters and combined the installation into a single service, bringing the board up to current standards.

What we did:

✅Meter consolidation (old meters retired, one clean setup)

✅Rewired legacy circuits — some 100-year-old cabling brought up to code

✅RCBOs on every circuit for modern protection

✅Tidy layout, clear labelling, full testing & compliance

Cleveland switchboard Upgrade ⚡️
This home is now Powerwall-ready — we’ve prepped it for 2 × Tesla Powerwalls coming in the next few weeks.
What we did:

✅Swapped ageing breakers for RCBOs on every circuit
✅Installed whole-home surge protection
✅Tidied and removed redundant/dodgy wiring, with neat labelling and testing to current standards

Result: a safer, cleaner board that’s ready for batteries and future electrification.

Easts Leagues Club 50kw Solar Refresh

We safely removed a 160-panel system while the old roof was replaced. Once the new roof went on, we reinstalled all 160 panels and brought the array up to standard with new rail, racking, fixings and cabling.

Result: a cleaner, safer system that’s ready to keep pumping big numbers for years — with better longevity and easier maintenance.

Install of the week!
Another Brisbane home future-proofed by Solair Electrical. We wrapped up this 13.2 kW solar system, completed a full switchboard upgrade, and relocated the meter box to the front of the house to meet Energex requirements.
This home is now battery-ready — prepped for a 20 kWh Sungrow SBH as soon as stock lands at the end of the month. 🔋⚡️
